Supernovas Online Terms and Conditions of Supernovas
Placing Your Order

We will acknowledge receipt of your Order by e-mail without undue delay; and make available to you information allowing you to identify and correct input errors prior to the placing of the order.

The contract shall be made between you and Supernovas when your order has been accepted by us via the Confirmation of the Contract confirmatory e-mail and a hard copy of the terms shall be attached to the e-mail and delivered to you on delivery;

At all times you have the right to cancel the order within seven (7) days of your order being accepted by us.

The terms and conditions applicable to your order and to the contract can be seen throughout the Website that allows you to store and reproduce them.

Supplier

The supplier of any goods purchased pursuant to the Terms and Conditions is Supernovas

Description of Goods

All Products sold and selected from those available on our Website are accompanied by a description. Please note, Reproduction of colour online is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow.

Price Information

The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Supernovas Website. All prices quoted for products are in £GBP and do not include delivery charges

Prices by any other form of purchase may be higher or lower than shown. Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at time of display online and include V.A.T. where appropriate.

The prices displayed on the Website are for on-line purchases and promotions only and are not transferable to sales of our products through telesales or through our store.

Pricing Errors

We will not be bound to honour any prices, where will have indicated to you subsequently that the prices displayed have been displayed in error.

In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.

Payment

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards.

Payment will be debited to your account before the despatch of your purchase.
Payment for any goods purchased pursuant to these terms must be made by debit or credit card at the time of placing the order and prior to delivery. Once we have validated your credit card and accepted the offer.

Validation Checks

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit and charge cards, Supernovas may at its discretion, validate the names and addresses supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to dispatch your order.

Delivery of Goods

We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom although for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery times. This charge will be shown clearly during the checkout process.

Place of Delivery

Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work.

Method of Delivery

Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by Courier. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Courier deliveries.

Checking Your Delivery

You are responsible for checking your order for damage before signing for your Order. If an order is signed for as “Received in Good Condition” or the order is signed for without any comment as to damage then we will not be liable for any damage subsequently found as all products are checked before being packed.

If the product is damaged then it must be returned with the courier and not accepted or accepted by signing as “goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition”.
We must be informed of any delivery damage within 12 hours of the delivery time. Please retain the goods in their original packaging and do not use the goods.

Delivery Charges

Post and packaging is charged in addition to the prices shown for products. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. The delivery charge depends on the size/weight of the product ordered. When you add products to your shopping cart the appropriate charge will be added when your order is processed.

All delivery charges will be shown clearly on your invoice. Small items are sent 1st class recorded delivery, costs vary from £1.50 - £6.95 depending on size & weight. .Larger items are sent on a courier service, prices between £12.00 - £25.00 depending on size & weight.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.

From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 30 working days providing the goods are in stock, unless a longer delivery time is specified to you.

Deliveries to non-Mainland or remote locations may take longer.

Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.

All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.

Unexpected Delivery Delay

We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Stock Unavailability

If any product you order is not in stock when your order is placed, it will automatically be placed on back order and you will be advised of the delivery date once the product is in stock.
If you do not wish an order to be placed on back order, you must contact us to inform us.

Cancellation

In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right of cancellation within seven days (7) days.
You have the statutory right to return any products you have purchased within seven (7) working days of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including email) within those seven (7) working days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid within thirty (30) days of your notice of cancellation. Please keep the products purchased in a saleable condition and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided.
You will be refunded within 30 days minus the cost of the initial delivery.

Unwanted Goods

If you decide that you do not want any item (that is not faulty or outside of the 7 day cancellation period), which we have delivered then provided you have contacted us within 14 days and have obtained a Returns Reference from us, you may return the unwanted product if it is still in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase) within 28 days of delivery, we will refund the price paid minus a handling charge of 25% of the price paid and the cost of delivery.

Faulty Goods

If you purchase a product from us that is found to be faulty we will supply a replacement product, arrange for a repair or give you a refund of the purchase price. Simply return it to us by one of the following methods:
By post (if the item has been posted to you). You are advised to return a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post.

Our delivery note or other proof of purchase must accompany the returned product. Upon receipt of the product we will examine it or we may have to return it to the Manufacturer for examination. We aim to dispatch a replacement product, arrange a repair or refund your money within 14 days.

Goods Found not to Faulty

If we subsequently discover that any product returned to us as “Faulty” is not so, we will return the product to you at your cost and additionally charge a 10% (of purchase price) handling fee.
Specifically Made Goods
Subject to your statutory rights, products made or altered specifically for you, may not be returned nor will we provide any refund, unless they are defective or have been accidentally damaged by us in the course of delivery.

Our Liability

If we deliver incorrect or damaged goods, or in the event that you discover any defect in the goods for which you require compensation or other remedy, you must report the defect within 4 days of the date you receive them, or as soon as possible thereafter by contacting us by email or telephone. Please keep the products purchased in a saleable condition and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided.

We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered products over and above the value of the goods themselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If we accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery our liability for that damage is limited to the repair or replacement of the goods or the value thereof.

Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery or re-scheduling of delivery.
We will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from repairs attempted by you or third parties or any damage caused by inappropriate fitting or misuse of products.

After-sales Service and Guarantees

Where applicable, details of manufacturers guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product.

We understand that many people still worry about submitting personal details on the Internet - especially their credit/debit card numbers. So we'd like to reassure you that any information you provide here will remain safe and secure.

Privacy Policy and Data Protection

In a few areas of our Website we will ask you to provide personal details such as your name and email address. This will only happen when it enables us to provide a better service to you.

We do not sell, trade or rent your information to others. You can be sure it will remain confidential and will be used only to help us build a better relationship with you.
